Hagia Pastor leads with great passion various wind band in Switzerland. She has classical education and was a pianist at the beginning of her career.

Hagia Pastor has been concentrating on conducting wind bands for over ten years.  In addition to MG Eich, MG Beromünster, MG Finsterwald, MG Niederbipp/Lotzwil and Feldmusik Rain, she also conducted several symphonic orchestras in Germany, Russia, Italy and Latvia in the years 2010-2016.

Hagia Pastor is of Russian-Ukrainian background. She was born in Sotchi, the southern Russian city. She began playing the piano at an early age, at the age of six, encouraged by her mother, herself a pianist and music teacher. At the age of twelve, Hagia Pastor had her first concert with the Rostov Symphonic Orchestra. In her further career as a pianist, she has made a name for herself as a great interpreter of works by the Polish composer Frédéric Chopin.

In addition to a doctorate from the University of Vienna, Hagia Pastor has numerous other degrees and further training. She completed her first studies at the technical school for music in Sochi in the fields of classical music and jazz. Four years later, Hagia Pastor was studing at the Gnessins Music Academy in Moscow, where she has continued her studies in classical music in the areas of solo, chamber music and accompaniment for five years. Around the turn of the millennium, she switched to the music academy in Cologne, where Hagia Pastor expanded her solo and chamber music repertoire. In 2003, her third phase of study took her to the Mozarteum in Salzburg. After graduating in 2005 and 2006 in piano solo and piano chamber music, she obtained a doctorate in musicology from the University of Vienna three years later. At the same time, she spent a year at the Zurich University of the Arts. Later she studied as a conductor at the Hochschule der Künste Bern.

Hagia Pastor also likes to carry out unusual projects. This is how cooperation between MG Eich and the philharmonic orchestra Sergiev Posad initiated. The brass band Eich flew to Moscow in 2019 and gave a concert in the Sergiev Posad Philharmonic.

In 2022, Hagia Pastor was accepted as one of only 10 female conductors in the global TACF mentoring program in the USA.
